a sign of some big changes in the not too distant future. today, hey, we're going to see those numbers soar again, 90s and low 100s inland but at the coast, 30 to 40-degree difference there as we are going to see that patchy fog right out toward the beaches. of course the bay just falling in between there mostly sunny skies, a little breezy in the afternoon. numbers right now we have 62 degrees in san jose. very mild start there. 61 in fremont but 52 degrees in san francisco. and 53 degrees in pacifica. we are looking at hot temperatures in the central valley as high as 103 in sacramento today, 104 in fresno. the high country checking in at 92 degrees, yosemite. and 84 degrees in lake tahoe. high pressure still the dominant feature right now strengthening somewhat for today so i think it's going to be hotter in most spots inland for today. at the coast you have that patchy fog that will keep you cooler but you get the idea, looks like another hot one in the works. temperatures inside the bay you have some 80s and 90s, 60s at the coast. hot 1

that's the big difference between the nba and the nfl. the nba owners and management are actually asking concessions from their players. >> howard beck, what would you add to that? help us understand the divide between the owners and the players in basketball. >> well, it basically breaks down along two lines for the nba. there's the philosophical or the stuck toural side of thisçç which is that they want to impose this hard salary cap instead of the soft cap which has all kinds of exceptions that allow teams to go past the cap limit on payrolls and a hard cap which would be an all-time first for the nba, something that players have been fighting against for decades really, ever since the sort cap system went into place. there's the structural. the other side is just the straight financial division of the revenues which are near $4 billion. currently the players make about 57%. the owners are saying they want to ratchet it down to more of a 50-50 split. even within that it's a redefined revenueç kol that they want to split 50-50. wha
